Der Begriff „Masken“ hat sich zumindest für mich im letzten Jahr neu bzw. anders definiert. Vorher dachte ich bei Masken an eben Masken, die das Gesicht bedecken und verändern sollten. Kurz mal seine Identität verschleiern, vielleicht auch kurz in andere Rollen schlüpfen und so. Seit einem Jahr sind Masken halt primär zum Schutz der eigenen und der Gesundheit der anderen konnektiert.
Patrick Smith hat sich für seinen Kurzfilm „Beyond Noh“ mal der klassischen Masken angenommen und 3745 von denen, die aus aller Welt stammen, zusammen gebracht.

pwnisher hat CG-Künstler dazu aufgerufen, nach einfachen Vorgaben die selbe Szene in ihrem Stil zu animieren. 125 Animateure haben sich der Aufgabe angenommen – und das Ergebnis ist ziemlich bis sehr cool geworden.

C4D4Us Softbody Tetris Animationen hatte ich hier schon des Öfteren. Mittlerweile ist er bei Version 32 davon angekommen. Hier in der 19. und 24. Version zeigt er, dass sich manchmal auch kleine Fehler einschleichen, die ich ohne seinen Hinweis allerdings wohl kaum bemerkt hätte. Schaut, wie schön flauschig das ist.

Berlin is a city where the freedom of expression on the streets is seen on the walls in the forms of graffiti, stencil works and stickers. Kreuzberg is a neighborhood that is dismissed for many years because of its proximity to the Berlin Wall, housing mostly bohemian and immigrant communities.
Over the past couple decades, people have poured into Berlin, attracted by its relative affordability, cultural wealth and anything-goes spirit. But now the city is trying to regulate what has elsewhere proved to be unstoppable: gentrification.
