Mir war nie bewusst, dass der Krokodilsfarmer und Stuntman Ross Kananga im James Bond Film Live and Let Die für diese Szene mehrfach über seine lebendigen Krokodile rennen musste und es ganz fünf Versuche brauchte, bis das Ding im Kasten war. Bei einem schnappte das letzte Krokodil nach Kanangas Ferse und erwischte ihn, wobei seine Hose riss und er sich eine Reihe von Verletzungen zuzog. Man benötigte 193 Stiche, um ihn zu flicken. Er erhielt 60.000 US-Dollar für seinen Beitrag.
Ich gehe davon aus, dass eine solche Szene heute nicht mehr gedreht, sonder animiert werden würde. Allein zum Wohle der Krokodile. Trotzdem interessanten Filmdokument.
Einen Kommentar hinterlassenSchon uralt und bisher trotzdem an mir vorbeigegangen: eine Band aus Quadrocopter, die das James Bond Theme spielt.
Flying robot quadrotors perform the James Bond Theme by playing various instruments including the keyboard, drums and maracas, a cymbal, and the debut of an adapted guitar built from a couch frame. The quadrotors play this „couch guitar“ by flying over guitar strings stretched across a couch frame; plucking the strings with a stiff wire attached to the base of the quadrotor. A special microphone attached to the frame records the notes made by the „couch guitar“.
These flying quadrotors are completely autonomous, meaning humans are not controlling them; rather they are controlled by a computer programed with instructions to play the instruments.

Radiohead wurde im letzten Jahr danach gefragt, ob sie denn nicht einen Song für den neuen Bond-Film machen wollen würden, was sie – natürlich – bejahten. So machten sie einen Song, der später, aus welchen Gründen auch immer, von Seiten des Filmstudios nicht genommen wurde.
Nun haben sie eben jenen Song auf Soundcloud geladen und zum Download freigegeben.

Yes we were. It didn’t work out, but became something of our own, which we love very much.
