In 1991, local newsstation reports Nintendo released their successor to the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in America. But the parents wasn’t too happy about it. The parents thought Nintendo was exploiting their children into buying new and expensive hardware for new games when the improvements to the new hardware were obvious.

Turn the handle on the retro TV to make 8-bit Mario move across the screen. And place LEGO Mario from the LEGO Super Mario Starter Course in the slot on top so he reacts to the on-screen enemies, obstacles and power-ups, while the original game’s theme tune plays!
FYI: Es gibt da draußen eine Mouse, die ganz im Stile eines NES-Controllers auch heute noch für Windows und OSX funktioniert: 8BitDo N30 Wireless Mouse. Fürs Spielen oder so ist sie wohl zu langsam, aber sie sieht verdammt gut aus und funktioniert wohl für alltägliche Zwecke gut. Würde sie nehmen.

Schönes Hybrid-Gadget, für das ein NES zu einer Gitarre wurde und dennoch ein voll funktionstüchtiges NES blieb. Könnte zu Streitigkeiten führen, wenn der eine klampfen und der andere zocken will, aber das geht sogar gleichzeitig.
Das Teil kann man aktuell auf Reverb gewinnen.

Für die Alten wird das womöglich nicht sonderlich interessant sein, aber für Kids, die Auge-Hand-Koordination am Controller lernen und dennoch auf die Haptik des Bastelns nicht verzichten sollen/wollen, ist Nintendo Labo ein ziemlich großer Wurf mit verdammt viel Potenzial. Ich bin Fan – und das nicht nur, weil hier eine Switch steht.
Damit mausert sich Nintendo zum Gamechanger der Konsolenanbieter, weil offenbar bisher kein anderer so auf diese Idee gekommen ist. Dafür Produktentwickler gewesen zu sein, muss ein derber Spaß gewesen sein.
