Gestern erst ein Snippet, jetzt ganz offiziell ein neues Video von Dendemann. Ein sehr, sehr geiles auch. Außerdem offizielles Releasedate für das neue Album. „Da nich für!“ kommt mit 12 Tracks am 25.01.19. Features von Casper, Trettmann und den Beginnern. Könnte geil werden.

Also wenn das dieses „zerlegen sich selbst“ sein soll, kann ich daran nichts Schlechtes finden. Wenn AfDler sich auf dem Klo vorm Pissoir in die Nieren boxen:

Lehmann habe Schmidt dann einen Schlag in die Nierengegend verpasst. In der Anzeige schildert Schmidt die Attacke nach Informationen der Zeitung als heimtückisch: Lehmann sei ihm unbemerkt in die Toilette gefolgt und habe ihn am Pissoir gestellt.

Es kam zur Anzeige, die Staatsanwaltschaft Magdeburg hat das Verfahren eingestellt, die Landtagspräsidentin ist dran.

Freue mich auf Videos eines Meuthen-vs-Höcke Fights vorm Klo des Bundestags. Oder so.

Dear Listeners,
It’s been overwhelming how many of you have written and asked for this year’s Fusion set. One person even counted the weight of the tears he had shed every time he came here, and found the set was not online yet. So why did it take so long?

It was a very intense four hour set at the Palapa, and it was a very intense week before that. To go back and revisit those moments required quite a bit of strength, which I didn’t have until now. Obviously the intensity of revisiting those moments at the Palapa had a lot to do with the death of our dear friend Bas Engels.

You might think that I’m loco for saying this, but I know Bas was there with us, celebrating life and death, guiding me through the set and even creating some magic, when my computer froze and I had to restart it, while improvising on a drum machine. Normally the recording would be lost then, but this time it was just there as if nothing had happened. Without him you wouldn’t be able to listen to this now.
I want to thank Bas for the special magic he created on so many occasions. Also I want to thank Eule and his team for their foresight and faith to pull me slightly out of my comfort zone, and into this perfect Sunday morning setting. And, of course, I also want to thank all of you, because
music sounds better with you.

Verlosung: 3×2 Tickets für das Liquid Sound Festival vom 02. – 04. November

Ihr erinnert euch vielleicht, wie sehr ich das, was der Liquid Sound Club so macht, zu schätzen weiß. Ganz viel Liebe dafür, Musik unter Wasser in die Ohren und Herzen der Menschen zu bringen – und immer etwas ganz Besonderes.

Noch viel besonderer allerdings wird es am ersten Novemberwochenende, denn an diesem feiert der der Liquid Sound Club in all seinen ihm verbundenen Thermen sein 25-jähriges Jubiläum. Mit dem nun schon 17. Liquid Sound Festival. Dann gibt es zwei Tage lang Unterwassermusik in den Toskana Thermen Bad Sulza (Thüringen), Bad Orb (Hessen), und in Bad Schandau (Sachsen). Ich werde dann zusammen mit Zuurb in der Nacht zu Samstag in Bad Sulza für die Musik sorgen, worauf ich mich außerordentlich freue. Zumal ich mich ganz selten so intensiv auf ein DJ-Set vorbereite. Hach, es wird sicher wieder traumhaft.

Massive Attack veröffentlichen die DNA von „Mezzanine“ in einer Spraydose

Ich weiß ehrlich gesagt nicht ganz genau, was wie ich mir das vorstellen kann, aber Massive Attack veröffentlichen die DNA von „Mezzanine“ in einer Spraydose.

“This digital bitstream of the album (0s and 1s) was first translated to 901’065 DNA sequences (A, C, T and Gs), each 105 characters long, and closely following our publication (Grass et al. Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 2015, link: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1002/anie.201411378). The 901’065 individual sequences were then chemically synthesised resulting in a synthetic DNA sample, which fully represents the digital bitstream of the album. To enable the mixing of the DNA with the spray can paint and to guarantee information stability, the DNA sequences were encapsulated in synthetic glass fossils (see: http://www.bbc.com/future/story/20130329-tiny-glass-bottles-protect-dna) and then directly added to the spray can. We ensured that every spray can contains at least 0.1 micrograms of the synthetic DNA, which is equivalent to 1 million copies of the album. This is only possible due to the immense data capacity of DNA (about 100 exabytes per gram)”
