Sehr schön animierter Kurzfilm, der im Rahmen der irischen Charity-Aktion ‚To Russia With Love‘ zugunsten russischer Waisenkinder gemacht wurde.

ANYA is a unique online initiative to support Irish charity ‚To Russia With Love‘. The idea is simple – watch the film and if you like it, say thanks by sending a donation to the charity. We like to look on it as visual busking!

John Overholt, Bibliothekar der Harvard University, hat dieses animierte GIF aus 10 Seiten eines Geometriebuchs von 1722 zusammengesetzt. „Plates from a 1722 geometrical treatise that attempts to explore every arrangement of square tiles bisected diagonally with black and white shading.“ Das dürfte ruhig einen Ticken schneller durchlaufen ist aber auch so durchaus interessant anzusehen.

Blitze in Super Slow Motion

Gestern war nicht nur in Nordrhein-Westfalen wetterbedingtes Ramba Zamba am Firmament sondern auch in den Niederlanden (Klar, ist ja soweit jetzt nicht weg.) YouTuber Pyropix jedenfalls hat seine Kamera scharfgemacht und das Unwetter vom Beginn bis zum Ende aufgenommen. Inklusive sehr beeindruckender Slo-Mo Shots.

Vom traumhaft schönen Album „Screws“, welches 2012 erschien und immer noch zum freien Download zur Verfügung steht. Das Video hierzu kommt von Balázs Simon, der dazu schreibt: „When I first heard Nils‘ new album ‚Screws‘ I instantly fell in love with it – not only because of the music, but also because of it’s backstory. Listening to ‚Re‘ planted a story and a world in my head, so I decided to create a music video for it.“

Keep On Pushin‘ von Ricki Bedenbaugh ist ein wirklich großartig aussehender Kurzfilm für den mehrere Filmemacher mit einer RED ausgestattet jeweils 2 Monate Zeit hatten, Aufnahmen von Skatern zu machen. Aus Liebe zum Brett.

Keep on Pushin‘ represents what skateboarding means to me, it is my way of thanking skateboarding for all that it has given me.

Keep On Pushin‘ is part of REDirect, a celebration of skateboard filmmaking between red.com and theberrics.com. Showcasing twelve of the most renowned skateboarding filmmakers in the world, each filmmaker had 2 months to shoot and edit a short film about skateboarding. The contestants were kitted with all components needed to shoot on RED.
