5000-Teile-Puzzle in CMYK

Vor ein paar Monaten schrieb ich hier über das 1000-Teile-Puzzle mit 1000 Farben, das von Clemens Habicht entworfen wurde. Der hat jetzt nachgelegt und ein noch größeres 5000-Teile Puzzle daraus gemacht, das mit 5000 Färbungen kommt. Geiles Dingen! Würde ich mir, wenn fertig, übers Bett hängen. Hier für $149,00.

As a follow-up to his wildly popular 1,000 Color Puzzle, artist Clemens Habicht scaled-up his deviously complicated jigsaw by a factor of five with the new 5,000 Colors Puzzle. The vibrantly monstrous puzzle is comprised of 5,000 differently colored pieces that form a 6.5 x 2.5 foot CMYK color gamut. For hyper-dedicated puzzlers only.

Rainbow Shineline Hair

Regenbogenhaare hatte ich hier schon des Öfteren im Blog, jetzt gehen die auf Instagram steil. Find ich immer noch ganz hübsch. Wohl auch, da ich nicht weiß, wie die nach 2-3 Mal waschen aussehen.

Was passiert, wenn ein LEGO-Technik-Porsche 911 im Maßstab 1:8 mit 46km/h gegen die Wand fährt?

Mit den Crash-Profis vom ADAC hat c’t das Modellauto nach EURO-NCAP-Norm mit 40% Versatz (wie bei den Großen) gecrasht. Hochgeschwindigkeitskamers filmten den Aufprall mit 1000 fps.

Wartungsarbeiten an der ISS

Den Soundtrack dazu einfach selber wählen. Aus der Perspektive auch mal die Welt sehen können, werde ich wohl nicht mehr schaffen. Schade. Aber gut, dass es Aufnahmen wie diese gibt.

This footage was taken by NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson during a spacewalk on the International Space Station on Thursday, March 30. She was joined on the spacewalk by NASA astronaut Shane Kimbrough.

The two spacewalkers reconnected cables and electrical connections on PMA-3 at its new home on top of the Harmony module. They also installed the second of the two upgraded computer relay boxes on the station’s truss and installed shields and covers on PMA-3 and the now-vacant common berthing mechanism port on Tranquility.

During the spacewalk, one of the shields was inadvertently lost. The loss posed no immediate danger to the astronauts and Kimbrough and Whitson went on to successfully install the remaining shields on the common berthing mechanism port.

Rasantes Time Lapse: A Taste of New York

Ein wirklich rasant geschnittenes Time Lapse von FilmSpektakel, das den ersten Eindrücken, die diese pulsierende Metropole hinterlässt, vielleicht perfekt widerzuspiegeln weiß. Ziemlich genau so habe ich meine ersten drei Stunden in dieser Stadt wahrgenommen. Wie ein Wespennest, das nie zur Ruhe kommt. Dennoch oder vielleicht gerade deswegen würde ich gerne mal wieder hinwollen.

This is the third episode of our independent „A Taste of …“ time lapse series.
In September 2016 we visited this awesome city to try out some new time lapse stuff.
It took us 10 days, a lot of burgers and one helicopter ride to produce this video. 10 days is very little time to discover this city of endless opportunities, so we hardly slept anything and shot day and night for this time lapse film. The city that never sleeps indeed!
