We all know that an escalator is a moving staircase which carries people floor by floors, but have you ever wondered how does it work? They are often used around the world but most of us have never actually seen the inner workings of these. That’s why, I made a simple functional cardboard model of these to show you how it works. This model was not totally a 100% functional since it’s handrail was fixed and had no mechanism.
