Der Fotograf Jeroen Van Nieuwenhove mit einem Blick von oben auf flüssiges Gestein in Island mit einer Temperatur von ~1200 °C. Faszinierend.

Out of all the footage I captured during the past three eruptions, this clip easily makes my nerdy heart beat the fastest. It looks like a great eye, lidless, wreathed in flame (anyone out there who got the reference?!😅). What you’re looking at is a top down view of a lava river rushing down a hill. The lava is so liquid, it’s moving almost as if it were water. This is because I recorded this very close to a vent further up the hill. The lava’s temperature is still close to 1200-1250 degrees Celsius here. Additionally, because it’s going downhill, it’s going even faster than you’d expect. When I spotted this “lavafall” from ground level, I immediately knew I needed to get my drone above it as that was where it would look really interesting to me.

Ziemlich geile Doku, die sich dem Leben und der Kultur von Fahrradkurieren widmet.

Murder of Couriers documents the lives of a group of bike messengers over a nearly three-year span. This film was made by couriers, about couriers, for a wide general audience and offers the chance to experience a lifestyle that not many get the privilege to enjoy. With the emerging popularity of urban fashion, extreme sports, green living and alternative lifestyles, people all over the world have begun to take to the streets on two wheels. At the heart of this general movement is a race of individuals who are indifferent to the cause. Indifferent only because they’ve always lived it. Now people around the world are beginning to look at bike messenger culture as a simple unifier of modern ideals. “A perfect marriage of work and play created by those who have learned to cut through the traffic of an uneventful life.” Murder of Couriers investigates this culture through the eyes of the people who live it daily.

Rick und Michonne kehren zurück. Ab dem 25.02.2024. Keine Ahnung, ob wir hier zu Lande ein zeitgleiches Vergnügen daran finden werden können, aber irgendwann dann sicher schon.

Käse-Content für jene, die auf der Suche nach dem bestpassenden Käse für ein Grilled Cheese sind. Könnte sein, dass ich weiß, was es hier heute zum Abendbrot gibt.

Video: Sven Väth @ Tresorpark, Loveparade, 12. Juli 1998

Jemand hat am 12. Juli 1998 ein paar Stunden der Tresorpark-Veranstaltung zur Love Parade aufgenommen und dann jetzt mal vor 14 Tagen auf YouTube geladen. Ich habe das mal in eine Playlist geschoben, damit ihr das nicht tun müsst. Ich bin niemand, der meint, dass früher alles besser war, aber geil war es schon – und Stimmung gab’s auch. Ich habe keine Erinnerung daran, ob ich in jenem auch im Tresorgarten war, ausschließen kann ich das nicht, aber ich kann ja mal gucken. Über zwei Stunden der Ekstase und nicht nur akustische Nostalgie. Sehr schönes Zeitdokument.

Habe am 12.Juli fast das gesamte Set abgefilmt, damit Dimitri daraus was schönes macht. Aus nicht erinnerbaren Gründen wurde daraus nix. Das gesamte Material zeig ich euch jetzt. Vielleicht erkennt sich der Eine oder die Andere wieder?
