I shot this on Sunday, April 24, 2016, at Mason Neck State Park in Lorton, VA. The park has a pond, appropriately called “Turtle Pond.” I noticed one turtle attempting to climb onto a log where four other turtles were already sunning themselves. This log was less stable than other logs in the pond, so it was amusing to see what happened next.

Ich mag sowohl Eulen als auch Wölfe gerne. Die sich gegenseitig offenbar nicht so, vor allem dann nicht, wenn die Eulen ihre Jungen zu beschützen gedenken.
