In Montana, the most dedicated product testers in the industry get ready to work every day. They problem solve, put their hairy, hairy backs into it and get the job done. Never mind that they’re 600-pound grizzly bears. When bears become habituated to human food, they are often considered dangerous and are either killed or put into captivity. So to keep both bears and people safe, the Bear and Wolf Discovery Center in Montana uses large grizzlies to test bear-resistant products. If the bears are unable to break into a cooler or trashcan in one hour, they get the grizzly seal of approval. If not, the bears get a much deserved lunch break.

„An injured black bear sow and her 2 cubs stole an Amazon package off our porch in the middle of the night. The mother bear is known in our area and a neighbor thinks she has been injured and traveling on 3 legs for several years. The stolen amazon package contained Blue Buffalo brand dog food, Milk-Bone brand dog treats, and banana chocolate chip Lara bars. The package was delivered by FedEx. I found remains of the package 2 days later in the woods near my house. All the dog food and treats were eaten. About 5-10 lara bars had been opened and eaten, but the rest remained uneaten.“

In Stadtmitte aber vielleicht auch nicht… Okay.

This is a long video, but it keeps getting better and better. You guys are going to love this! Remember when I said that bears shed their coats in August and can look a little sketchy sometimes? I told you Susan brushes the bears, but many of you expressed disbelief, and rightly so of course – so I asked Susan to film herself brushing one of the bears. Here she is – with our most vocal bear Maddy.

Brooks Falls in Alaska’s Katmai National Park is the best place in the world to watch brown bears feasting on salmon as they swim upstream to spawn.

Not all heroes wear capes.

After first spotting the bear, Hough retreated inside, only to later find the furry intruder „bobbling away in the Jacuzzi enjoying himself.“

Hough recorded video of the bear lolling in the unheated hot tub with the jets on. The creature played with the chlorinator and tossed the thermometer in the air, Hough said.

„He was playing having a grand old time,“ he added.

The bear’s dip only lasted a few minutes before it emerged and lumbered around the yard. Then it „popped out of the bushes, walked right over to the margarita, knocked it over and lapped it,“ Hough said.

…About an hour later, Hough was talking to a neighbor when some oak leaves fluttered to the ground. Hough looked up to see the bear slumbering in the tree.
