Graffiti-Roboter

To test his prototype, Joala’s start-up company, Sprayprinter, painted a mural in Tartu, Estonia, on the chimney of a local heat supply company, one of the city’s tallest structures. Joala and his colleagues fixed the printer’s prototype to vertical and horizontal cords. A computer connected to the printer then sent coordinates to the printer telling it where to spray-paint, and in which color. This was done using a design from fellow Estonian artist Maari Soekov.

Roughly 14 hours and 30 cans of spray-paint later, the team created a vibrant, 98-foot mural of a girl holding a tree in her hands. Joala said he wanted to send an environmental message with this work, championing renewable energy.

„The main message in this artwork is that we need more plants and fewer chimneys,“ he said.

Joala also hopes to break the record for the world’s biggest mural using this little robot as his medium.

Grandioses Wholecar-Piece vom Australier Sofles in Bukarest. Story dazu bei Creators.

While many cities regularly cleanse their public transit of paint, photos of the Romanian capital’s trains decked with letters and murals abound.

[…]

It’s unclear whether this mural was authorized, though Creators has reached out to SOFLES for comment. The mural is a collaboration with local Romanian writers BigMach and Mser1, whose Instagram account is loaded with letters coating metro cars.

It’s a Graffiti Hall of Fame in the city of Nijmegen, the Netherlands. What started as a 70’s Hippie cult place, became a center of music and art in the early 80’s. One of the first places where it was legal to smoke cannabis. It still a Music studio and Graffiti Hall of fame. The building is surrounded by walls that are all spray painted from top to bottom.

definition
Microcapsmic is a vision of Cosmos where spray paint caps [microcosm] are regarded as the epitome of the Universe [macrocosm] and vice versa.

story
Used and naturally clogged in the most random ways possible, these spray paint caps were once indistinguishable from one another to the human eye and untouched by the human hand in the making.
Now, each of them is considered to be small-scale models of the Universe that they created it.
The first part showed here is a selection of six clogged spray paint caps that were used to create the stellar mural „StarChild (Genesis)“.

You’re contemplating the scale of the sprayed Universe.
The closer you look, the faster you get absorbed by its black hole.
