Einen Kommentar hinterlassenThe Moon Loungers haben sich Radioheads „Creep“ und The Hollies‘ „The Air That I Breathe“ genommen und schon vor Jahren ganz wunderbar zu einem Song verschmolzen. Die Puristen werden wieder schimpfen, wie sie es immer tun. Aber die Idee dazu kommt nicht von ungefähr, denn Radiohead haben sich beim Schreiben von „Creep“ nicht unwesentlich an „The Air That I Breathe“ orientiert und so kommt zusammen, was irgendwie die selben Wurzeln hat – und weiß dabei sogar noch überzeugend zu klingen. Due to similarities to „The Air That I Breathe“, a song recorded by the Hollies in 1973, Albert Hammond and Mike Hazlewood are credited as co-writers of „Creep“. „Creep“ uses a chord progression used in „The Air That I Breathe“ in its verse and a melody from „The Air That I Breathe“ in the bridge following the second chorus.

Dazu schafft er ein Video, das einen Social Media Account zeigt, auf dem all die alten Helden zusammenkommen und über Musik sprechen. Ziemlich geile Idee, großartig umgesetzt.
