Ben Klock had this Banana with him to consume after his almost 12 hours long Closing Set on January 4th at Berghain/Panorama Bar in Berlin, Germany.
But he didn’t!!
He handed it to me as a sop of his conscience after remaining Ravers and me begged him to play another last record–
I kissed his hand, he kissed mine and the Banana was the physical bond of ours, of this moment.
He explained he had some before and they were delicious;
I believe him, his banana still looks yummy!I am leaving town soon and can’t take care of this precious diamond so decided to sell it here.
Hope it finds a good home.

Laut What Hi-Fi wird der neue Technics SL-1200G in diesem Jahr für je $4000.00 in die Läden kommen. Das deckt sich in etwa mit meinen Erwartungen, so denn der Preis denn mehr als nur ein Gerücht ist. Macht dann für zwei plus Mixer um die 8500, 000 EUR. Teurer Spaß.
[Update:] SL 1200GAE (limited edition 1200st.) soll $4000 kosten, der SL 1200G zum Ende des Jahres $1200.

There’s also a 50th anniversary special edition in the offing, the SL-1200GAE, which features a slightly different finish, limited serial number platter and a magnesium tonearm (as opposed to aluminium on the standard model). This model will be limited to 1200 pieces.
Technics Grand Class SL-1200 will go on sale in summer 2016.

Kurz bevor Lemmy Kilmister das Zeitliche segnete, war er in Finnland, um einen Werbespot zu drehen. Für Milch. Inwiefern der jetzt zum Kauf der selbigen überzeugen kann, mag ich nicht beurteilen, denn so richtig scheint Milch nicht das von ihm bevorzugte Getränk gewesen zu sein.
This is offered in celebration of the life of a lovely, exceptional man – a man who celebrated life so vibrantly himself. We were first shooting a remake of an iconic Finnish milk ad. The tone of this ad that was shot a month ago was changed to make it a heartfelt tribute, however modest. A take that came late in the shoot was selected – one of Lemmy’s brilliant improv moments that was never in the script. This was our magical encounter with a great man – and we’re honoured to share it with the world.

Im Cleveland Museum of Natural History hat entweder ein Besucher einen VW Käfer stecken lassen oder das Museum hat schlichtweg Humor bewiesen. Denn zwischen jeder Menge auf einer Wand ausgestellten Käfern hängt ein VW Käfer in Käfergröße. Gehört ja auch irgendwie zur Spezies.

Mal unabhängig von den Motiven, ist es doch schon beeindruckend zu sehen, wie viele Arbeitsgänge es in Anspruch nimmt, eine Boeing unter verschiedene Farben zu bringen. Wow.
