Ein Video, das mit einem 100 Jahre alten Objektiv auf einer aktuellen Kamera gemacht wurde

Mathieu Stern ist Kurator des Weird Lenses Museum und hatte die tolle Idee, ein 100 Jahre altes Kameraobjektiv, das schon im ersten Weltkrieg genutzt wurde, auf eine aktuelle Kamera zu adaptieren, um damit Aufnahmen in Wien zu machen. Und das sieht ganz schön charmant aus.

This lens spent 100 years in the dark, the last think it captured must have been the horrors of the World War I … i think it was time to use it for something more light and positive. I took this Kodak Vest Pocket camera lens with me for a short trip to Vienna (Austria) to shoot some test footage. I must say i was pretty amazed by the sharpness and the quality of the image i saw on my screen.

Mit einer Drohne durch den Wald: A moment of peace

Würde ich mir nicht zutrauen. Also mit einer Drohne durch den Wald zu fliegen. Da sind eben jede Menge Bäume, die da im Weg stehen. Aber Gab707 hat die Skills, dort ganz gemütlich durchzufliegen.

„This was a crazy moment. I have never flown here, this is a new spot. I had spotted that arch I fly through at the star before flying, but that was about it. First battery, takeoff, and this moment of flow just happened… So nice when it all works together!“

Hübscher Auszug auf einem Kreuzberg-Video von Oddviz.

Berlin is a city where the freedom of expression on the streets is seen on the walls in the forms of graffiti, stencil works and stickers. Kreuzberg is a neighborhood that is dismissed for many years because of its proximity to the Berlin Wall, housing mostly bohemian and immigrant communities.

Over the past couple decades, people have poured into Berlin, attracted by its relative affordability, cultural wealth and anything-goes spirit. But now the city is trying to regulate what has elsewhere proved to be unstoppable: gentrification.
