Schöner Move von Radiohead, die wohl Opfer eines Diebstahls wurden, bei dem ihnen alte Minidiscs „geklaut“ wurden. Die Diebe forderten 150.000 Dollar und drohten damit, die Musik bei Nichtzahlung zu veröffentlichen. Radiohead gingen in die Offensive und sie haben die Songs, um die es gehen soll, kurzerhand auf Bandcamp veröffentlicht. Und da höre ich doch jetzt glatt mal rein. Man kann die Musik der ingesamt 18 Minidiscs dort auch käuflich erwerben. Der Erlös daraus geht an Extinction Rebellion.

Weiß nur nicht genau, wie das bei seinem Gegenüber angekommen ist. Aber das weiß man ja eh nie so ganz genau. Und offenbar scheint er cool damit zu sein.

Klingt erstmal absonderlich, aber die NASA hat jetzt offenbart, zukünftig auch Touristen auf die Internationale Raumstation fliegen zu wollen. Ein Übernachtung dort oben soll 35.000 Dollar kosten. Der Flug hin und zurück wird mit 60 Millionen Dollar zu Buche schlagen, was bedeutet, dass wohl keiner hier von uns jemals die Möglichkeit haben dürfte, aber hey…
Für An- und Abreise der Weltallurlauber werden Boeing und Elon Musks SpaceX verantwortlich sein.
NASA is not selling space vacations directly, but allowing commercial companies to arrange such trips. The agency plans to charge the companies about $35,000 a night for use of the station’s facilities, including air and water.
The tourist companies would charge much more to cover the rocket flights to and from space, and to make a profit.
Bigelow Aerospace of North Las Vegas, Nev., has already reserved four launches. The company will use SpaceX, the rocket company run by Elon Musk, to take private astronauts. Each flight would have four seats.
Axiom Space of Houston is also arranging flights and hopes to fly tourists next year.
