Für das Video wurden Teile des letzten Peanut-Films mit originalen Aufnahmen gemischt.

Lily ist ein handlicher Quadrocopter, der selbstständig sowohl fliegen als auch steuern kann. Per Interface bleibt sie so immer in der Nähe von dem, den sie begleiten und filmen soll. So wie ein kleines Haustier, das mit 1080p HD Videos aufnehmen kann. Das nenne ich Innovation und freue mich auf die Videos, die damit entstehen werden, denn das verspricht ganz neue Perspektiven.
Das Teil ist wasserdicht, das Akku hält wohl 20 Minuten. Aktuell kann Lily für $499.00 vorbestellt werden. Geliefert wird dann ab Februar 2016. Ich überlege gerade…

Im letzten Jahr hat der Street Art Künstler Katsu eine Graffiti-Drohne entwickelt und in einem Studio gezeigt. Mitte der Woche hat er das Teil nun beim Sprühen in der Öffentlichkeit gefilmt – und zwar am größten und meist gesehenen Billboards New York Citys.
The Calvin Klein billboard, one of New York City’s largest, sits at the busy intersection of Houston St and Lafayette St. The graffiti drone’s potential for troublemaking on an unprecedentedly grand scale is obvious. The billboard is absolutely gigantic, about six stories tall. It would have been almost impossible to tag Jenner’s face using the traditional methods. One could rappel off the top of the building or use a cherry picker, but neither option is exactly safe, or subtle, or quick enough that one could do it without cops on regular patrol spotting it. With the drone, by contrast, it took less than a minute. Still, the artist admitted, “It was a bit tense.” (Needless to say, the stunt was extremely illegal).

Chris DeAntonio hat eine Drohne um das im Jahr 1999 aufgegebene Divine Lorraine Hotel in Philadelphia geflogen und mit einer Musik unterlegt, die an längst vergessene Hochzeiten des Hauses erinnern dürfte. Eine merkwürdig schöne Kombination, die aus Bild und Ton eine ambivalente Symbiose eingeht.
The Divine Lorraine Hotel, also known as the Lorraine Apartments, stands at the corner of Broad Street and Fairmount Avenue in North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Designed by architect Willis G. Hale and built between 1892 and 1894, the building originally functioned as apartments, housing some of Philadelphia’s wealthy residents. Lorraine Apartments was one of the most luxurious and best preserved late 19th-century apartment houses in Philadelphia. In 1900 the building became the Lorraine Hotel when the Metropolitan Hotel Company purchased the apartments. Later it would become the first hotel in Philadelphia to be racially integrated under Father Divine.
