Zwei Männer bewohnen 10 Tage lang ein Holzrad: In Orbit

Ward Shelley und Alex Schweder haben 10 Tage ihres Daseins in dieser Kunstinstallation namens „in Orbit“ verbracht. Das Dingen hat bis auf ein Klo alles, was auch eine Einraumwohnung so hergibt. Nur eben etwas komprimiert auf ein Holzrad mit 7,6 Meter Durchmesser. Da muss man sich schon einig sein, wenn einer ins Bett oder an der Schreibtisch will. Oder einer pinkeln muss und der andere gerade in der Falle liegt.

All its furniture and accommodations are fixed along its circumference. To bring the users the things they require during the day, they must walk in tandem to rotate the giant wheel. The artists will live in the structure 24/7 from February 28 through March 9, 2014. From that date until April 5, 2014, the end of the exhibition, the structure will remain on view in the exhibition space as an installation“

So kann man die Wohnraumproblematik auch lösen, aber meine Sache wäre das ja nicht.
