Sieht vielleicht ein bisschen übermotiviert aus, so über einer Tür. Klingt aber recht schön, wenn da Besuch zur Tür reinkommt. Und den dafür passenden Akkord kann man sich ja auch selber klemmen.

Short Patch experiment with a few new modules, including the Mutant BD9, Mutant Snare, Pico Drums x 2, running through various effects. The main CV modulation sources in the patch are the Modcan Quad LFO, and the new Control Forge module by Rossum Electro which was used to create a fast quick modulation bursts to the Amp decay Pitch etc on the BD9. Drones via the Music Thing Radio Music, playing a feedback drone wave going through the Tiptop Z-DSP „Halls of Valhalla card, program 7.
I ran the BD9 through the new black hole DSP module by Erica Synths, and the Mutable Instruments Clouds running a unreleased firmware, and finally some Rainmaker X 2 for the snare processing, pitch delays. There is also a bit of Z-DSP, Eventide H9, AD Reverb, OWL, and ErbVerb too. Enjoy, download to the audio file below. :-)

Ein KommentarMartin Molin von Wintergatan, der vor ein paar Monaten mit seiner Musik spielenden Murmelmaschine das Internet auf den Kopf gestellt hatte, hat wieder gewerkelt und zwei neue Instrumente entwickelt. Die „Music Box“, die an eine Mischung aus Spieluhr und Leierkasten erinnert und das „Modulin“, in dem sich Theremin und Modular-Synthesizer zu treffen scheinen. Klingen tut beides in Kombination durchaus hörenswert. Ein KommentarEs ist immer wieder eine Wonne, Kreativen dabei zuzusehen, wie sie ihre Beats zusammenschrauben. Besonders dann, wenn das Ergebnis auch noch den eigenen musikalischen Nerv trifft. So wie hier beim dänischen DJ und Produzenten Turkman Souljah. Großartig.

Toon und David haben mit dem Dato Duo einen kleinen aber feinen Synthi entwickelt, der für zwei Personen und recht einfach gedacht ist. Dennoch kommt er mit ein paar Features, die man in dem kleinen Gehäuse nicht zwangsläufig vermuten würde. Auch ein Sequenzer. Alles quasi „kinderleicht“, so dass schon die kleinsten ihre Freude an der Kiste haben können. Sieht nach jeder Menge Spaß aus. Hier das Kickstarter Projekt, das noch ein paar Unterstützer gebrauchen könnte.
The Dato DUO is designed to have fun making music, together! While one player plays a melody on the sequencer side, the other creates its sound and adds percussion on the synthesizer side. By carefully controlling the possible parameters, we designed the DUO so you can’t do anything wrong. The result may be as clean or noisy as you want it to be, but it’ll never be out of tune. If you want to know how it sounds watch our video again – we recorded the soundtrack directly from the output of one Dato DUO.

Ich verstehe nicht wirklich, was genau da passiert, wenn ich ehrlich bin. Aber in Physik war ich schon immer ein Nulpe. Allerdings mag ich die Idee sehr. Farben, die zu Musik werden.
