Melancholischer Mix für einen freien Tag im Herbst: th/ftr/strts/nw – gammler

Melancholisch, traurig fast, mitunter gar leicht schräg, aber durchweg klanglich sehr interessant, dieser schwer entschleunigende Mix von YNFND, die sich selber wie folgt einordnen:

YNFND, born out of an artist collective, event organisation & friendship, this small baltic DIY label is known for its eclectic blend of organic and electronic tunes. Focusing on colorful productions beside the mainstream, YNFND acts as source of inspiration for alternative ways of making & publishing music. Nowadays based around Rostock and Berlin, they are also busy as a booking agency and musical network for artist from all around the world.

hmmm @ Ambient Floor – Garbicz Festival 2019

Ich kannte das, was Lemonella und 𝙷𝚊𝚛𝚛𝚢 𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚛𝚕𝚎𝚜 gemeinsam als hmmm machen nicht, hörte heute dennoch mehrfach diesen Mix und weiß dann – instant – wieder warum ein Teil meines musikalischen Herzens für immer dem Ambient und den Downbeats gehören wird. Was für ein rund um guter Mix mit akustischem Blick auf genau das.

Das mittlerweile alljährliche und nun schon fast traditionelle Burning Man Sunrise Set, welches Tycho auf dem Burning Man spielt. So geschehen und aufgenommen am letzten Donnerstag in der Wüste Nevadas.

Mix: Schlafcola at Meeresrausch 2019

Die Älteren unter euch erinnern sich vielleicht daran, dass ich den Sound, den Michalis und Tino von Schlafcola so auflegen, immer besonders gerne gemocht habe. Downbeats, Psybient, Dub und gediegene Electronica, die in ihrer Summe immer zum Verweilen und auch zum Träumen einladen. Lange drei Jahre haben die Beiden nicht mehr gespielt. Diese Pause haben sie im Sommer auf dem Meeresrausch Festival gebrochen und dort dieses großartige vierstündige Set gespielt, dem ich leider nicht beiwohnen konnte, weil ich dort auch mal schlafen musste. Zum Glück wurde es aufgenommen, so das wir damit alle ganz wunderbar in die Woche starten können. Well done.
